The sixth edition of A Summer Story turned Madrid into the epicenter of world electronic music last weekend. The first big festival event of the summer, held at the Ciudad del Rock in Arganda del Rey, celebrated six years of life with an attendance of 70,000 people and a lineup that brought together the biggest names in national and international electronic music with a technical deployment at the height of the best European festivals.
Despite the inclement weather in the run-up to the opening of the gates of both days, which almost jeopardized the festival, A Summer Story was once again a resounding success, consolidating the event as one of the most anticipated of the summer in Spain. The organization and the team that makes A Summer Story a reality worked day and night to fix in time the damages caused by wind gusts of more than 100 km/h, overcoming the adversities in record time and placing the safety of the public and staff as the main objective at all times. Thanks to the coordination of technicians, stage designers, engineers, the auxiliary services of Reken, artists and representatives, Guardia Civil, security officers and members of the City Council of Arganda del Rey the festival could be held with total normality.
The event, organized by Disorder Events, has not stopped growing since its inception, demonstrating it again in this edition held on June 17 and 18. In these two days more than 70 artists passed through its four stages, highlighting the performances of DJ Tiësto, Martinez Brothers, Timmy Trumpet, Amelie Lens or “Oro Viejo by Dj Nano”, among many others.
One more year, Fluge Audiovisuales, thanks to the confidence of Disorder Events, has been in charge of supplying the sound, lighting and video equipment for the four stages of the festival, which has marked a new chapter in its history by increasing the number of visitors compared to the previous edition. As for those responsible for the design of the different stages: the Main Stage was designed by Enrique Jiménez (Fluge Audiovisuales), the AirEuropa Stage was designed by Juan Carlos Pérez Rodríguez, the J&B Stage was designed by Alex Cortés and Florin Hotnogun (Fluge Audiovisuales) and the Stage by Trade Dj by the students of the Trade Formación school.
