Held at the facilities of the Vallhermoso Stadium in Madrid, the A LA PAR Foundation and FAPE jointly organized last Tuesday, July 12, the 5th Information Conference on disability in media. The event was chaired by Her Majesty Queen Letizia, who attended the event after being away from public life for a few days due to coronavirus, and was attended by distinguished members of Spanish sports such as José Manuel Franco, Secretary of State for Sport, Nacho Álvarez Peralta, Secretary of State for Social Affairs or Miguel Sagarra, Secretary General of the Paralympic Committee.

The event, which aimed to make visible and discuss the evolution of disability sports with in the media, brought together athletes and specialized journalists in different round tables. In addition, the event was attended by Almudena Martorell, president of the A LA PAR Foundation, and Miguel Ángel Noceda, president of FAPE, who gave speeches highlighting the perseverance and sacrifice of the athletes and the effort of disseminating the competitions by journalists.

Thanks to A LA PAR Foundation’s trust, the supply of sound and video equipment for the event was carried out by Fluge Audiovisuales. Among the sound equipment supplied, it is worth highlighting a sound system made up of 6 D&B E8 acoustic monitors, 3 Shure handheld microphone systems and 4 Shure bodypack systems with DPA 6066 headbands. As for the video, there was a 3.5×2 meter and 2.9mm pitch LED screen and a technical control for the management of various sources.
