HIP – Horeca Professional Expo 2021, opened the doors of its most exceptional edition on Monday, March 22nd, with three days of duration until Wednesday, March 24th. Held at IFEMA, the fair was celebrated with all the relevant health and safety measures, allowing an unprecedented edition to be held in Europe. In addition to being the first major face-to-face event this year in Madrid, its main objective was to support the recovery of the Spanish hospitality industry, severley burdened since the arrival of the pandemic.
The President of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, expressed her support for the hospitality industry by inaugurating this fifth edition of HIP in a key year for the sector. Hand in hand with more than 300 exhibiting firms, HIP launched this much-needed action to help relaunch the hospitality business.
In turn, The Hospitality 4.0 Congress, the largest global Horeca innovation congress, provided key notes on how to face year 2021 and discover the strategies and success stories of entrepreneurs, hoteliers and restaurateurs who have managed to reinvent themselves after the arrival of the pandemic .
The Madrid and Barcelona delegations of Fluge Audiovisuales, in confidence of Nebext, were in charge of managing all the audiovisual services (sound, lighting and video) of six conference rooms: two in the Caixabank Auditorium, Digital Theater, Mesa 0, Cook Room and Bar & Co and Auditorio Dependencia).
Among the supplied equipment, it is worth highlighting 150 modules of 4.8mm pitch LED screen, 10 × 3.5 meter projection screens and two side screens in the shape of a dice on each side of 6.30 x 3.55 meters with 10 20k laser projectors, equipment Meyer Sound and Nexo sound systems, more than 70 wireless microphone sets and around 400 lighting equipment.
