Japan Weekend Madrid 2024, which took place on February 17 and 18 in pavilions 4 and 8 of IFEMA Madrid, was a resounding success that attracted thousands of Japanese pop culture enthusiasts from all over Spain. The event, organized by Jointo, offered an unforgettable experience full of exciting activities and meetings with leading artists from the world of anime, manga and cosplay.

During the weekend, attendees had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the Japanese universe full of color and creativity. From cosplay contests to concerts by KPOP, JPOP and MPOP groups, every corner of IFEMA was transformed into a place to celebrate otaku culture. Fans were able to delight in live performances, participate in exciting cosplay competitions in various categories, and enjoy the presence of special guests such as Kiki Vivi Lily, Gyung Studio, Refrainbow, and Ben Balmaceda.

One of the highlights of the event was the Japan Weekend Cosplay Show, where cosplayers displayed their elaborate costumes and dazzled the audience with their impressive performances. Additionally, the Cosplay Catwalk, the International Cosplay League and the Children’s Cosplay Contest were highly anticipated events that attracted participants of all ages.

Karaoke lovers also had their moment of glory, with the opportunity to show off their vocal skills in an atmosphere full of camaraderie and fun. In addition, visitors were able to explore stands full of artisan products, merchandising, board games and video games, as well as an area dedicated exclusively to Pokémon.

Thanks to Jointo, producer of the event, Fluge Audiovisuales was in charge of supplying the sound, lighting and video equipment for the main stage and secondary stages distributed in four rooms. Below, we break down the most notable equipment:
