Last Tuesday, July 7, Abre Madrid kicked off in the open space located at IFEMA with a solidarity concert by Los Secretos. The show, in coordination with the Red Cross, was dedicated to health personnel. The donations carried out have been destined to the Red Cross Response Plan, an initiative that has helped more than two million people since the start of the pandemic.

With an extensive cultural and entertainment program, which will run through the summer until September 6, those who attend Abre Madrid will be able to enjoy concerts, monologues, film series and children’s shows on its two outdoor stages. The second stage, dedicated to Summer Cinema and electronic sessions, will officially open in the near future.

By entrustment of Letsgo and Productores de Sonrisas, Fluge Audiovisuales will supply the sound, lighting and video equipment for both stages. Sound equipment supplied for the main stage includes 16 Meyer Sound M3D, 8 Meyer Sound M3D Sub, 6 Meyer Sound Melodie for frontfill and an Avid Venue D-Show control table. Regarding lighting, 23 Varilite VL3500, 19 Varilite VL3000, 12 Varilite VLX Wash, 16 Clay Paky Alpha Beam 300, 16 Clay Paky Alpha Beam 700, 20 Clay Paky Sharpy, 14 Martin Atomic and one Grand MA2 Light have been supplied as control desk. Lastly, the video equipment is made up of 1 8.5×5 meter and 8.33 mm pitch outdoor LED screen, 2 5×3 meter and 8.33 mm pitch LED screens and 2 Barco Folsom Image Pro control systems.
