This January 1st , Madrid welcomed 2018 with an upscale Techno party. 01 New Year’s Day was held at IFEMA to kickoff the year with some of the best DJs on a global scale who managed to sell out the tickets.
Amelie Lens, Loco Dice, Luciano, Marco Carola and Richie Hawtin were some of the artists who managed to make the audience dance and record this night in their memory.
Planet Events, Disorder and Grupo Hermanos Toro were the production companies of thisenormous event that hopes to become a tradition.
Fluge Audiovisuales was in charge of supplying the lighting, sound and video equipment of the show.
Among the equipment provided that stood out for sound were 24 d & b J8, 30 d & b J-Sub and 24 d & b D-80 for the system of P.A .; 4 d & b J12 for the Downfill; 4 d & b J12 for the Frontfill; 16 d & b V8 for Outfill; 12 d & b Q-1 and 2 d & b Q-7 for the Delay. All controlled by a Yamaha PM5D RH.
For lighting it is worth mentioning the supply of 37 Robe Pointe, 24 Robin BMFL, 17 Robin BMFL Spot, 6 Clay Paky Sharpy, 20 Clay Paky A.Leda B-Eye K20, 8 Clay Paky A.Leda B-Eye K10 and 120 VDO Scepctron 10 1000 mm; controlled by a Grand MA2 Full Size.
As far as video is concerned, a distinctive 4.81mm and 10m x 7m led screen, two of 4m x 3.5m and one of 10m x 1m were used, in addition to 2 projection screens of 7.32m x 4.11m, and a Barco E2 system.
Light Project was in charge of stage design, the visual concept and the live videojockeys.
