The forum which we had already been reporting for a couple of weeks was held on December 13th and 14th. The event, inaugurated at 9:30 am by Antoni Noguera, Mayor of Palma, together with Isabel M. Busquets, Vice President and Minister of Innovation, Research and Tourism of the Balearic Islands Government and Ramón Vidal, President of the Mallorca Convention Bureau, focused on events with social, environmental and economic impact.
In the words of Alessia Comis, director of Pidelaluna Events and co-organizer of the event, “We are convinced that sustainable growth is one of the ingredients that Mallorca needs to position itself as a destination and we want to demonstrate that Corporate Social Responsibility at events is a win2win strategy for both the client as for the organizer/provider. Not only is it worth talking about the impact, we also want to emphasize the need to achieve and measure results. “
The event was organized by the Palau de Congressos de Palma team, the MPI (Meetings Professionals International) association and Pidelaluna Events. presenting their services in the exhibition space were different entities based in Mallorca collaborating as partners; in addition to the Mallorca Convention Bureau, are the Iberostar Group, Blau Hotels & Resorts, IP Events, Bazan Lab, Fluge, foodandfriends, the Hotel Association of Cala Millor and Sa Coma and more companies in the sector; up to 30 partners.
