The Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week returned to Madrid in a commemorative edition for its 75th anniversary. Organized by IFEMA Madrid with the collaboration of the Madrid City Council, the event took place between March 9 and 13 and gave rise to a festival of haute couture, new talents and the latest trends that is once again a benchmark for Spanish fashion and authors.

The different activities and parades of the festival took place both in pavilion 14.1 of the IFEMA fairgrounds, where the Cibeles Walkway was located, the main space of the event, and in different locations throughout the city. At IFEMA there was also the Cibelespacio, the area surrounding the parade room where the sponsoring brands such as Mercedes-Benz, Allianz, Royal Bliss or Iberia carried out activities aimed at the visiting public.

In this edition both established designers and new talents had the opportunity to exhibit their works. In total there were 44 firms parading during the 6 days through the different spaces showing their creativity and innovation. Special highlight to the well-known names of Pedro del Hierro, Agatha Ruíz de la Prada or Lola Casademunt amongst the participating firms. These artists had the challenge of attracting the attention of an increasingly demanding public, including professional buyers, designers and the national and international press.

Thanks to IFEMA – Feria de Madrid’s trust, Fluge Audiovisuales was in charge of supplying the lighting equipment for the catwalk. Among the installed equipment, it is worth highlighting 12 Robe 600 Plus LED Wash, 9 Robe Tarrantula LED Beam, 30 Clay Paky Sharpy Plus, 24 Clay Paky Sharpy or 3 Robert Juliat Merlin 2500.
