Under the motto “Shine: called to influence”, more than 4,200 Christian leaders from 120 different countries gathered at the Madrid Arena between October 12 and 14 to participate in the World Congress of the Assemblies of God, a historic and strategic act. This meeting sought to foster leadership and establish strategies for the church’s mission in the current global context.

The congress paid special attention to the “MM33” vision, a strategy that aims for the year 2033, with the aim of making the church more relevant and influential in the future. This long-term approach demonstrated the commitment of Assemblies of God leaders to the evolution and adaptation of the church in response to contemporary challenges.

This event marked a milestone, being the first Assemblies of God World Congress held entirely in Spanish, although translations were provided to ensure inclusivity for all participants. In addition to the plenary sessions, workshops, panels, worship services were held and stands from various entities and ministries were set up. Youth and children had a special place at the event, with activities and programs designed to instill the mission and values of the Holy Spirit in new generations. Music and worship also played a key role, with musicians and artists from across the country and special guests participating. The congress concluded with a great evangelistic event, in which participants had the opportunity to share their faith.

Thanks to the Assemblies of God, organizer of the event, Fluge Audiovisuales was in charge of supplying the audiovisual material. In addition, a documentary produced by the dosotres agency was recorded, which traces the evolution of the event’s production since 2018. It is worth mentioning that the event had to be canceled twice due to the pandemic.
