The MIN Awards were born in 2009 with the aim of recognizing artistic creation, cultural diversity, new talent and the quality of the productions published by musical SMEs in Spain. After twelve editions, they have established themselves as a benchmark in the Spanish music industry. They are the independent industry event with the greatest impact and are currently the only awards granted by the industry itself that are awarded in Spain.
In its 2020 edition, for the first time and due to the health emergency, the MIN Awards gala became a TV program broadcast on Movistar +. The gala featured Leonor Warling and Arturo Paniagua as masters of ceremonies, who made the Galician band, Novedades Carminha known as the winner of the Fluge Award for Best Artist.
