Panama City was painted with light and color to celebrate its 500 years of history thanks to a spectacular video mapping. The show reviewed the five centuries of life of the city with various projections that showed the most iconic moments of its trajectory, from its earliest time to the present moment.
The imagery used in video mapping mixed archaic and modern elements together with digitally created illustrations, which referred to everything related to Panamanian culture, mythology and idiosyncrasy.
The show was projected on a large sculpture designed for the occasion, whose structure favored the light plays and projections on its surface. The assembly of the sculpture was itinerant installed in three different areas of the city so that most of its inhabitants could enjoy the show.
Thanks to the trust of ACCIONA Producciones y Diseño, the company responsible for the design and production of the event, Fluge Central America provided the sound, video and technical mapping equipment. Also, the scenery was carried out by Latam Experience. Specifically, Meyer Sound brand sound equipment was supplied with an Avid Profile console and, in addition, two Panasonic 20,000 lumens projectors were provided for the video section.
