BARCELONA BRIDAL FASHION WEEK NEW EDITION CONSOLIDATES INTERNATIONALLY
From Wednesday 19 to Sunday 23 April, the Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week (BBFW) fashion event brought together the catwalk and trade fair formats at the same time. With a total of 5 days of celebration, this new edition served to confirm the event’s international role, which attracted 21,500 visitors from up to 90 countries, 15% more than in 2022.
Fira Barcelona fair institution, organizer of the event, had the Generalitat of Catalonia Business and Labor Department support. It highlighted the 350 brands that participated in parades and presentations in this new edition, of which 76% were international . In addition, the new collections of 34 designers from 15 countries were presented, such as Rosa Clarà, Pronovias or Jesús Peiró, and 1,529 national and international strategic buyers were invited.
Fluge Audiovisuales Barcelona, thanks to Fira Barcelona, was in charge of supplying the lighting equipment, structures, video, sound and audiovisual content for the catwalk and fair in the Fira Barcelona spaces, Mies Van der Rohe -with Inés Di Santo -, Drassanes Maritime Museum -Elie Saab- and the awards ceremony. In this edition, it is worth highlighting the catwalk, designed by Sara Cortés, which had a 117m2 floor LED screen and dimensions of 39 x 3 meters (Design and execution by Fluge). On the other hand, there was an enveloping sound system and spectacular lighting designed by Juanjo Saunier, who adapted the equipment programming to each of the parades individually.
