C TANGANA GOES ONTO STAGE WITH HIS TOUR “EL MADRILEÑO, SIN CANTAR NI TUNING TOUR 2022”
The new and long-awaited tour of El Madrileño, better known as C Tangana, began in Spain, sweeping each of the venues chosen to present his studio album “El Madrileño”, released in 2021. With a successful audience and unparalleled criticism, the tour, entitled “Sin cantar ni tuning Tour”, is the largest and most ambitious of his career; a show characterized by an enormous musical and technical display in which the artist staged the songs from the aforementioned last album, as well as its subsequent reissue entitled “La Sobremesa”.
The tour kicked off in Malaga on February 19 at the Martín Carpena sports palace, unleashing ecstasy in a dedicated audience. A few weeks later, on Saturday March 5, C. Tangana and his entire team met at the WiZink Center in Madrid to offer the most important concert carried out by the artist, in his own words: a reinvention of the show of masses with an impressive technical display surrounded by a multitude of cameras. There were 15,000 attendees (absolutely full), who were able to enjoy the unforgettable show with a two-hour recital where they were able to sing all the artist’s songs, such as “Tú me dejaste de querer, Los Tontos or Llorando en la Limo”. Without a doubt, an event that did not leave the public indifferent and that includes a culmination in the singer’s career that began a decade ago. With his new tour, Tangana will visit many Spanish cities, including Barcelona, Zaragoza, Marbella and Valencia, thus leaving a trail of success in all of them.
The tour has a first-class staging characterized by a fusion between Latin American music and flamenco, thanks to the deployment of a great orchestra made up of about 20 musicians with instruments such as cellos, violins and guitars that play from Latin rhythms and flamencos to rumbas, rock n’ roll or R&B. In addition, on half a dozen tables with dim lighting, assimilating after-meal conversation in an elegant café, El Madrileño and his companions sit to delight their audience. All of this is enhanced by the audiovisual technical display, different from anything seen before, thanks to the careful stage lighting and its live production, more similar to a video clip or the edition of a DVD than a live concert. A complete declaration of intentions in his first big tour.
