DREAMBEACH VILLARICOS 2023: A FESTIVAL THAT LEAVES A MARK WITH 135,000 ATTENDEES AND A SIGNIFICANT ECONOMIC IMPACT

The Dreambeach Villaricos festival has exceeded all expectations in its ninth edition, held from August 9 to 13 on Villaricos-Palomares beach. With a record attendance of 135,000 people, this edition becomes a milestone for the festival and for the province of Almería.

Beyond the attendance figures, the event has had an extraordinary economic impact for the region, generating more than twelve and a half million euros and creating more than 1,000 jobs. These data reflect the growth and importance that Dreambeach has acquired in its history. The diverse musical scene was displayed on three main stages. The Main Stage, dedicated to mainstream and melodic music; the Dream Tent, for techno lovers and, finally, the Open Air, with styles as varied as dubstep and drum and bass.

Big names in electronic music, such as Armin van Buuren, Steve Aoki and Carl Cox, shone at the festival. Additionally, the Dreams Tent kept the energy high with performances from artists like Kobosil and Shlømo. On the other hand, the Open Air stage dared to embrace emerging sounds such as breakbeat, presenting artists such as Hedex and Bou. The final touch was provided by the hip hop performances of Morad, Natos and Waor and the world presentation of the album “Imersion” by Dellafuente.

Fluge Audiovisuales was in charge of supplying the sound, lighting and video equipment for the impressive Main Stage thanks to Hermanos Toro Producciones’ trust, producer of the festival. This enormous main stage was designed by Experiencias Visuales, with Eduardo Valverde at the helm, and had David Carras as operator. Below, we break down the most notable supplied material:
