“GREASE, THE MUSICAL” IS STILL IMMERSED IN A SUCCESSFUL TOUR THROUGH SPAIN FOR ITS 50TH ANNIVERSARY

After achieving resounding success during its stay in Madrid and Barcelona, the iconic production ‘Grease, The Musical’ embarked on a national tour that continues to cause a sensation in Spain. On the occasion of its 50th anniversary, this new version of the acclaimed work premiered on August 17 at the Euskalduna Palace in Bilbao and currently continues its tour around the country, bringing its magic to every corner where it is performed.

With a renewed focus, the production has opted for a young and talented cast that brings a fresh and vibrant energy to the show. Among the leading actors are Quique González and Mia Lardner, who do not stop receiving praise from the public. The authenticity of the musical and the dedication of the actors remain crucial elements to the play’s continued success.

Directed and adapted by David Serrano and with lighting design Juanjo Llorens, the tour has visited various Spanish cities, including Bilbao, Valladolid, Salamanca, Pamplona, Zaragoza, Córdoba, Alicante, Lleida, Manresa, Mallorca and Murcia. In addition, in the next few dates it will visit cities such as Vigo, Seville, Valencia, Jerez, Santander, Coruña and Gijón.

Thanks to SOM Produce, producer of the 50th anniversary tour, Fluge Audiovisuales is in charge of supplying the sound, lighting and video material. Among the equipment, it is worth highlighting more than 130 mobile and conventional lighting spotlights, a P.A. composed of L’Acoustic material controlled by a Digico SD7 table and 12 3.75 mm pitch LED screen modules and a Barco Folsom ImagePro control system.
