Project Description

HARD ROCK HOTEL MADRID OPENS ITS DOORS WITH MUSIC PRESENT IN ALL ITS SPACES

Last Thursday, July 1, the Hard Rock Hotel Madrid opened its doors, located in Atocha, in front of the historic Reina Sofía National Museum of Art Center and the famous Golden Triangle of Art. Hard Rock International adds its third hotel establishment in Spain, after those inaugurated in Ibiza and Tenerife, wanting to turn this new space into a meeting point for both national and international visitors.

The hotel has 161 rooms divided into seven categories, in addition to more than 2,000 square meters of space, including the garden and the roof terrace, with three different areas, which are the perfect setting for different types of events. It also has an outdoor pool for guests, a Body Rock fitness center and the Sessions restaurant, specializing in Mediterranean cuisine, designed by the Rockwell Group.

Fluge Proyectos has unfolded its full potential by following Hard Rock’s quality requirements for the installation and commissioning of its ambient sound system and facade lighting.

For the façade lighting, a system of vertical RGB led strips from the manufacturer SAKMA was designed, which were integrated into the façade profiles creating a homogeneous color wash. Thanks to the independent control of each of the strips, you have the option of creating flag effects, color effects or whatever the client requests. The façade wiring strategy allows for a simple, sanitary installation with efficient maintenance.

Processing equipment and speakers from BOSE and POWERSOFT amplification manufacturer have been used for the hotel’s audio system. The sound system consists of a homogeneous distribution throughout the common areas of the hotel: Lobby GMT + 1, Rock Shop, Sessions, Deconstructed Guitar in the Lobby, upper deck of the RT60 terrace and outdoor gardens, including the pool. All this controlled by a centralized system consisting of a control tablet and a remote control touch-screen. This offers the customer a capacity to manage the system effectively.
