Project Description

Lopesan Hotel in Punta Cana is one of the most important hotel constructions in the Dominican Republic. It is a large resort located on the shores of Playa Bávaro, a designated tourist area of ​​the country. The hotel is wide and with many different spaces amongst which, the new auditorium, whose building has been nourished by the latest audiovisual technology to host all kinds of shows and frontline events is the highlight.

Fluge Proyectos provided all the sound, lighting, video and audiovisual technical personnel for the auditorium, in addition to the rigging study and its installation, thanks to the trust of Equinoccio Bavaro, its production company. Specifically, about thirty Meyer Sound brand sound equipment and more than a hundred spotlights were supplied, with a prominent presence of the Martin and Robe brands, for the lighting section. Regarding the video, about 80 square meters of LED screens with 3.9mm pitch were provided.

For the creation of this auditorium several months of preparation and work were necessary, since it was raised from scratch to house a remarkable permanent audiovisual endowment. The room, which has about one thousand seats, was provided with a complete audiovisual equipment with sound, lighting and video equipment.

In this sense, the video section is distinguished by having several mobile LED screens capable of dividing or joining thanks to the action of the motors on which they are installed. Likewise, the auditorium was designed to achieve the best acoustics with a powerful installation of professional sound equipment.
