O MARISQUIÑO RETURNS TO VIGO IN ITS XXII EDITION, WITH NEW SPACES AND MORE MUSIC THAN EVER

After two years, O Marisquiño de Vigo returned to normality with a new edition of the action sports and urban culture festival, which expanded its offer with new spaces throughout the city and added one more day to its programming, thus aspiring to become in the short term the leading international event in Action Sports and Urban Culture.

Held from August 12 to 14, the festival featured several action sports disciplines such as skateboarding, dirt jump, BMX or MTB Downtown, combined with various attractions of urban culture such as Breakdance, graffiti and live music and betting on local talent. With a selection of artists and styles of an urban nature, from hip hop, trap, Latin rhythms and electronics, the festival set up various spaces, the main one being the Sunset Stage installed on the Trasatlánticos Pier, also offering DJ sessions ´s in the Samil beach (Oasis stage) and the Vialia center. In addition, welcoming the new edition of O Marisquiño, the group Hijos de la Runia and Wöyza gave a concert at the Castrelos Auditorium on August 11.

Thanks to Ulises Proyects E.E., producer of the event, Fluge Galicia supplied the sound, lighting and video equipment for the Sunset, Skate, Oasis and Vialia stages, as well as the video and sound reinforcement for the performance by Hijos de la Runia and Wöyza at the Castrelos Auditorium.
