SMART CITY 2022, THE WORLD’S MOST RELEVANT EVENT FOR SMART CITIES
The world population is expected to grow to ten billion by the year 2050, and 70% of these people will live in cities. In 40 years, as many cities will have been built as in all of history. This was the starting point of the Smart City Expo World Congress, the most renowned international congress in the world, which was held at Fira de Barcelona from November 15 to 17.
Smart City welcomed the greatest experts and professionals from the technology sector to talk about smart cities and, with them, the structural change they will undergo in the coming decades. This event had a space for congresses and an exhibition space where prominent people and organizations involved in the local management of the territories participated, and where innovative solutions were shown in the field of public policies and technologies for urban management.
Once again, at the request of Fira de Barcelona, Fluge Barcelona was in charge of supplying the complete audiovisual equipment for SCEWC 2022. For an event of such magnitude, the assembly was carried out one week in advance, during the week from November 7 to 13. Equipment was installed in various spaces such as the main auditorium, VIP room and five parallel rooms with open rooms and stands.
The auditorium was equipped with decorative and functional lighting, a flown D&B P.A. in the room and a 13 x 6 meter 2.9mm pitch LED screen controlled with an Ascender. The production system consisted of three HD cameras with remote connection. In the rest of the rooms there was reinforcement lighting and frontal lighting for the stages, as well as LED bars with 36 Kinetic motors on top of them for decoration. The access doors were also illuminated in color with Ghibli. Regarding the perimeter sound, Nexo PS10 equipment was installed. In video, he highlighted the LED screen at an angle of 30º of 10 x 3.5 meters managed with an Ascender and mediaserver system and a circuit of cameras.
The other LED screens displayed throughout the venue had dimensions of 5 x 2.82 meters and there were also 12 HD laser projectors. There were fixed cameras in all rooms, with CC1 and CC5 equipped with DAS and Shure QLXD radio frequency in the conference centers. Finally, there were 65 exhibitors where 103 screens from 32 to 98 inches were supplied, 17 design stands with 321 LED modules, 2 video walls with 16 LED modules with Datapath systems and 129 monitors and a 45-inch laptop to control all the installed equipment. .
