THE BENICASSIM INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL (FIB) CONCLUDES ITS 24TH EDITION WITH 40,000 ASSISTANTS DAILY
The FIB (Festival Internacional de Benicassim) was held its 24th edition exceeding 40,000 attendees a day in its 4 days from the 19th to the 21st of July. With a dazzling audiovisual setup, the headliners of this new edition were Travis Scott, Pet Shop Boys, Liam Gallagher and The Killers. It should also be higlighted that the Killers‘ performance brought together 48,000 people, making it the most crowded show of the four days.
As it goes about yearly, Maraworld, producer of the festival, relied on Fluge Audiovisuales to supply the sound, lighting and video equipment.
More than 250 lighting devices , including robotics and effects (tracking guns, blinding machines, smoke machines …)were used for this impressive audiovisual display. These were of brands such as Vari*Lite, Robert Juliat, Robe, Martin or Clay Paky. P.A, subwoofers and sound monitors were supplied amongst more than 170 Meyer Sound self-powered boxes, highlighting models such as Lyon, Leo, M3D or Leopard. In addition, there were more than 25 DAS Audio and 16 L’Acoustic monitors. As for the video, a 6×3 meter led screen of 4.81 mm resolution, a 12×7 meter and 6.94 mm screen, two of 5×3 meters and 6.94 mm, one of 4×2.5 meters and 5,2 mm and another of 6×3 meters and 4.81 mm were provided. In addition, several Barco Folsom Image Pro systems were also provided.
