The musical “Cruz de Navajas” landed in Valencia on March 3 to present its show that honors the legendary Mecano band with a huge technical display, one of the largest seen in theaters in our country. Its slogan: You will listen to Mecano as you have never seen it before; synthesizes this event that stands out for the audiovisual equipment staged; not to mention the hundreds of  professionals who participated in this great production that, after passing through Valencia, will arrive in Madrid next April.

The musical, lasting more than two hours, is made up of a total of 35 Mecano songs that have their own choreography, costumes and audiovisual elements that generate a particular universe matching the theme and character of each one. To make this true, more than thirty people intervened on stage among musicians, singers and dancers who perform studied choreographies that merge with the audiovisual section to generate an attractive staging, which features Eloy Samson as sound designer and Pau Fullana as lighting designer.

One of the most relevant peculiarities that the show presents, is the coordination of the endless elements and technical areas that are placed on the stage. In order to carry it out, previous rehearsals were necessary where, in addition to the singers, dancers and musicians, the technical team participated alongside the same stage they present in the musical. Thanks to these essays the synchronization between the technical and artistic section of the work was perfected, which took place in the Blue Plate of the Fluge Audiovisuales facilities in Arganda del Rey.
