URBAN MUSIC RISES AS THE GREAT PROTAGONIST OF THE LOS40 MUSIC AWARDS 2023

In a night full of stars and memorable performances, LOS40 Music Awards Santander 2023 once again paid tribute to the best pop music at a national and international level, with urban music being the main protagonist of the evening. Held last Friday, November 3 at the WiZink Center in Madrid, artists such as Feid, Ozuna, Aitana and Manuel Turizo emerged as the big winners of the night.

THE40 Music Awards Santander 2023 not only celebrated the successes of the moment, but also focused on the future of music, emphasizing the growing influence of urban rhythms on the global music scene. The event also stood out for the introduction of new categories that reflect the evolution of the music industry, such as best urban breakthrough artist in Spain and best urban song in the global Latin category.

Among the big winners were names like Feid and Manuel Turizo, who dominated the Global Latin category, winning three awards each. Feid received the award for Best Urban Artist, Best Urban Song for “Classy 101” and Best Urban Collaboration with Ozuna for “Hey Mor”. For his part, Manuel Turizo shone with his “2000 Tour” and his album “2000”, and for “El Merengue”, he was awarded for Best Latin Song.

At the national level, Aitana confirmed she was in a favorite status by receiving awards for Best Video Clip for “Las Babys” and Best Album for “Alpha.” In addition, the ceremony was a showcase for emerging and established talent, with awards for artists of the caliber of Ana Mena, Loreen, Camilo, Vicco and Álvaro de Luna. Shakira, the Colombian superstar, received the Golden Music Award in recognition of her outstanding career. Although she could not physically attend, her presence was felt throughout the venue through a special show broadcast from Miami. Finally, the British group Take That delighted attendees with a performance that marked their return after a decade of absence, demonstrating that their music is still relevant.

Thanks to Planet Events, producer of the show, Fluge Audiovisuales was in charge of supplying the sound, lighting and video equipment for the gala and photocall. The gala featured sound design by Fernando Díaz, lighting design by Alain Corthout and had Omar Mohamed as D3 operator. Below, we break down the most notable equipment:
