The Hospitality Innovation Planet (HIP) fair, which was held at IFEMA – Feria de Madrid to present the most important advances and innovations of the hospitality industry, is consolidated as a reference meeting for professionals in this field after its fourth edition, which counted on more than 30,000 attendees. This latest edition also highlighted the Foodservice Robotics Pioneers, a global robotics forum that exhibited the possibilities of this technology applied to the sector.

The event, which took place between February 25 and 27 and was located in three IFEMA pavilions (12, 14 and 14.1), installed more than 30,000 square meters of stands where more than half a thousand companies participated and held a multitude of exhibitions, talks and conferences oriented towards innovation and competitiveness as reference elements for the future of the business.

To this service, several conference rooms were located in the three IFEMA pavilions that HIP occupied. Among its different speakers, the highlight were some experts and world figures from the hospitality sector who discussed the benefits and challenges of the entry of robotics in the sector.

Thanks to the trust of Nebext, Fluge Barcelona and Fluge Audiovisuales were providers of audiovisual production; they made the technical-audiovisual equipment of the congress area, the Speakers Corner and other spaces of the Fair.

Among the equipment supplied, 32 systems of 190 LED PAR and 64 Fresnel lights stand out for the lighting area together with 36 self-powered Meyer Sound boxes, 16 d&b boxes and 10 Adamson boxes for the sound section, controlled by three DiGico control tables and three others of the Yamaha brand. Also, the video section was completed with four LED screens of 1.5X2.5 meters and 3.75mm pitch and a LED screen of 5.76X3.36 meters and 3.75mm pitch, along with four systems of Barco Folsom control.
