The usual AS Awards gala returned to the Palace Hotel in Madrid on December 20, 2022. In its 16th edition, the sports family met to review the year, which has meant the definitive return to sports normality, and distribute the awards to the best athletes of 2022.
The most exciting moments were the reminders of the collective achievements achieved during the year, such as the Eurobasket, Rafael Nadal’s two Grand Slams, Carlos Arévalo’s double world gold in canoeing, Asier Martínez’s unstoppable progression in the 110 meters fences and the 14th Real Madrid Champions League. Among the personalities present at the event were figures such as Sandra Sánchez, Alejandro Valverde, Rafa Nadal, Koke Resurrección or Jorge Garbajosa. .
As every year, thanks to Planet Events @ Live Nation, producer of the event, Fluge Audiovisuales was in charge of supplying the lighting and sound equipment for the six rooms, photocall and both entrances to the venue. Among all the audiovisual equipment used, 55 conventional lighting equipment stood out, controlled by a Chamsys USB Magic console, and around 15 sound monitors controlled by an Allen&Heath SQ-5 console.
