For the second consecutive year, Dj Nano turned Sala Silikona upside down with an exclusive show called “Guitarras y Maquinas 2.0.” to celebrate the 38th anniversary of the legendary Moratalaz nightclub, which opened its doors for the first time to the Madrid public on October 12, 1985. With this exclusive party, only for 300 people, the artist, reference and undisputed standard of the national dance scene , he felt at home again, surrounded by guests from the industry, friends and loyal followers.
Located in the heart of the Moratalaz neighborhood, Sala Silikona has been committed to the promotion of live music since its inception and has evolved over time, adapting to the needs, tastes and preferences of its clients, wherever they have been. for several generations, becoming in its own right one of the most emblematic nightclubs in Madrid.
On the occasion of Sala Silikona’s 38th anniversary, Dj Nano dusted off the most guitar-driven and industrial vinyls and songs from the late 80s and early 90s, in what will be a tribute to the everyday dancehalls, to the neighborhood venues and the true survivors of the industry. During the night, genres such as Techno-Pop, EBM, Synth-Pop and DarkWave resonated in every corner of the room, playing songs by bands like Kraftwerk, Joy Division or New Order. Quite an event on a very special night.
Sala Silikona has the technical support and experience of companies such as Fluge Audiovisuales, the main supplier of sound, lighting and video in the world of entertainment and events, or Trade Formación, a professional training school for entertainment technicians. In addition, the venue has renewed its sound and lighting systems, introducing the latest audiovisual technologies and an avant-garde interior design, maintaining the essence of the legendary room from the 80s, updating it to new times with a design that takes meticulous care of every detail.
