The past 15th, 16th and 17th of February, the streets of Barcelona were transformed thanks to the luminous art of the Llum Festival. The proposal unfolded fifty designs of luminics throughout the Count City that, in addition to videomapping, also included sculptural installations where light was the protagonist.

The concurrent spots of the city acquired an unusual appearance with this mixture of art and technology made by professionals of diverse profiles, such as photographers, designers, architects, video creation specialists or students of art schools and universities.

One of the installations, carried out by students of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and located in the Ecourban Building, consisted of a structure that resembled an explosion of light whose core radiated a series of luminous objects held in a static manner in the air, as if they had been frozen at the exact moment of the detonation. This structural base was composed of a truss that through tensors, supportedall these artifacts.

Fluge Barcelona supplied all the bases and truss structures, clamps and smoke machines for this installation thanks to the confidence of the Fundació Politècnica of Catalunya, producer of this artwork.
