The 4th edition of the Mahou Urban Food Festival (M.U.F.F.) recurrently turned Vigo into the epicenter of gastronomy, music and leisure. The event, which took place in the Maritime Station of the city from May 23rd to 26th, joined multiple activities where live performances, beer tasting and tapas were the protagonists.
In the initial stages of the event, the delivery of the TripAdvisor plates was carried out, which recognized the 22 Galician establishments that were best valued by the users. The Michelin Guide also chose this framework to reward the chefs of the most important Galician restaurants of the past year according to the magazine.
Also, this edition of the M.U.F.F. Festival counted on a selection of twelve establishments in the region that offered visitors various culinary specialties created for the occasion, whose proposals competed with each other to win the award for the best offer of the contest.
The event also had different beer tastings and exhibitions of beer masters. Mahou, who offered the public a wide variety of products, invited whomever pleased to participate in a runway contest along with other free activities such as body paint, gastronomic photography and personalization of bags, t-shirts or skateboards.
The music was also very present throughout the days of the festival. On her first day, Sofía Ellar offered an electro-acoustic concert which was later joined by Broken Peach and Smile. The electronic option did not miss the performances of various DJ’s.
The meeting closed with the presentation of the jury’spickings and the delivery of beer and tasting awards, whose last day ended with musical performances and the inclusion of a DJ as a concluding touch.
