The International Congress of the European Pain Federation (EFIC) is one of the most important medical meetings worldwide in the field of chronic ailments. Its latest edition, held at the Valencia Fair from September 4th to 7th, brought together more than 3,000 professionals and researchers specialized in pain associated with diseases and how it affects the quality of life of patients.
This last congress focused on the pioneering treatments against pain and reflected on its physical and psychological consequences. In this sense, the EFIC different speakers opted for a global approach to tackle all aspects related to those diseases in which pain manifests itself with special severity.
The different spaces of the Valencia Fair used during the four days of the congress were equipped with an extensive audiovisual equipment to host the different talks and conferences. Three spaces were used; a space with a capacity for 1,900 people (Hall 5), another for 500 (Room Hall 1B) and one for 150 attendees (Open Forum).
Fluge Barcelona and Fluge Levante provided the sound, lighting, video and audiovisual technical staff for the different conference rooms thanks to the trust of EFIC, which produced the event, and K.I.T, its organizing agency.
For the main hall(Hall 5), Meyer Sound brand sound equipment was provided, in particular Melodie and UPM models, more than twenty lighting equipment and three 25,000 lumens HD laser projectors. Also, Hall 1B was equipped with sound equipment of the Meyer Sound brand (UPM models) and Das Audio (12A models) along with a dozen lighting equipment and an HD projector of 20,000 lumens. In addition, video equipment was provided for streaming broadcasts of the different sessions in all rooms.
