On the occasion of the Holy Week, the Almudena Cathedral in Madrid hosted the musical Viacrucis, a show created and directed by Fr. Toño Casado who transferred to his staging the journey through the 15 stations of the Passion of Christ. He counted on live music and an audiovisual technical display in the purest Broadway style. Held last Wednesday, April 6, a Row 0 was set up in favor of Ukrainian refugees where attendees could collaborate through donations.

This concert-prayer, which again traveled the last path of the Nazarene, featured the participation of renowned artists from the world of musicals such as Adrián Salzedo (El Médico and Malinche) in the role of Jesus; Inma Mira (Smiles and tears) in María’s; Luna Mora (33 El Musical) in Verónica’s, or Laureano Ramírez (Hairspray) in Cirineo’s. In addition, the journalists and writers Mariló Montero and Antonio García Barbeito went up to the stage installed in the Almudena Cathedral as readers.

Technically, the representation was also covered by an exceptional team. The lighting design was carried out by Enrique Jiménez (Fluge Audiovisuales), the sound design was carried out by Marcos Mejías (Fluge Audiovisuales) and the video design by Richard Paniagua (Fluge Audiovisuales).

Thanks to the trust of Fr. Toño Casado, author of the lyrics, music and direction of the work, and the Parish of Nuestra Señora del Pilar, where he carries out his pastoral activity, Fluge Audiovisuales was in charge of the technical production and supply of the audiovisual equipment representation. Among the equipment supplied, it is worth mentioning two LED screen totems measuring 2×3 meters and 2.97mm pitch, a production system for five Panasonic 4K cameras, around 50 lighting equipment and a sound system made up of more than 30 d&b speakers.
